About

The Women Behind Rowan.

Rowan was built by someone who got tired of conversations that didn't go anywhere—and the isolation of an intense career. And a therapist who saw a direct need for people to gather, talk, and gain the kind of perspective you can't get one-on-one in therapy.

Jessica Mitchell

Jessica is a lawyer, fluent in the language of boardrooms, deal sheets, and the corporate machine. She's spent her career inside the system, which is exactly why she keeps questioning it.

Her work sits at the intersection of structure and self-inquiry, helping people build, take things apart, and see more clearly what's actually working—and what isn't. She asks the questions most people move past—are we actually doing right by ourselves, and each other?—and tries to stay with them long enough to get somewhere real.

She brings a sense of the absurd to otherwise serious spaces. In a world that rewards Type A certainty, she tends to operate more like a Type Z: curious, pattern-breaking, and oriented toward what's actually true, not just what looks right.
